Terms and Conditions

These Terms and Conditions help to ensure that Batenburgs NZ Ltd complies with applicable laws. We at, Batenburgs NZ Ltd, take our Terms and Conditions seriously. Please take the time to read our Terms and Conditions and if you have any questions please let us know.

Delivery and Packing

We deliver to all of New Zealand. Please read our standard delivery information here or contact us for help.

We use third parties (carriers) to deliver so if you have any concerns please contact us (the supplier) as soon as you can and we will help. If you need to contact us for any delivery concerns please let us know your order number and we will endeavor to track it for you and place an investigation with the courier if needed.

Parcels (except Rural RD addresses) are delivered with a "signature required" unless you inform us otherwise.In the shopping cart you are asked what the courier should do if no-one is home to sign for the parcel. You have the option to click yes, the courier can leave the parcel unattended at the property or no, the courier should leave a calling card and take the parcel back to the depot.By ticking yes the courier can leave the parcel unattended you take full responsibility for what happens to the parcel once the courier has left it at the property. By ticking no, you take responsibility that the recipient will contact the courier and organise delivery or pick up of the parcel. Batenburgs is not liable for the parcel once the courier has actioned your instruction.

Under the Consumers Guarantee Act (CGA) we will endeavor to have your products arrive in acceptable condition and on time. At Batenburgs NZ Ltd we will do all we can to meet the requested delivery dates. However, we shall not be liable for any loss or damage due to delays or failure to deliver resulting from any circumstance beyond our reasonable control such as, but not limited to, failure or delays in transportation, forces of nature, incorrect delivery addresses or addresses that the courier cannot access.

Payment security

Batenburgs NZ Ltd provides a 100% secure payment system. All payments are processed by Payment Express. Payment Express keeps your personal information confidential at all times. Payment Express is a level 1 certified PCI-DSS compliant provide. PCI-DSS, the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard, is a set of security requirements relating to the protection of cardholder data. PCI-DSS is governed by the Payment Card Industry (“PCI”) Security Standards Council, an organisation put together by the major card schemes - VISA, MasterCard, American Express, JCB and Discover.

We do not store your credit card details.

Refunds Policy

Our returns policy does not allow refunds when you have changed your mind or you do not like the gift or a product in the gift you have received. Please choose your products carefully. Under the Consumer Guarantees Act (CGA) when you buy a product, the sale is final. Batenburgs NZ Ltd website shows the product, list of contents and the price to ensure, you, the customer know what you are buying.

Replacements & Damages Policy

Please contact us as soon as you discover a problem. Please explain what the problem is. We will replace goods that are damaged or give you a refund if you would prefer. We may ask for photo proof of damages so that we can have this investigated with the courier company. If a product is damaged we will organize for the product to be returned to us at our cost.

Cancellations

Please order carefully as you enter into a binding contract every time you place an order with Batenburgs NZ Ltd, whether it is verbal, written or online.

Batenburgs NZ Ltd online orders can be cancelled within 14 days of placing the order and a full refund will be credited even if you have changed your mind so long as the order has not been dispatched. If an order has been dispatched it cannot be cancelled.

However this does not include:

  • Verbal or written orders
  • Orders over $200
  • Customised or gifts changed in any way. 

Alcohol

Batenburgs has been granted a Liquor License to sell alcohol online and from our showroom which we take very seriously.
When ordering a gift containing alcohol you declare that you are over 18 years of age. No persons under the age of 18 years of age may place an order or receive gifts from Batenburgs NZ Ltd if the gift contains alcohol.

Substitutions

While we always do our best to keep our images and descriptions as accurate as possible, Batenburgs NZ Ltd reserves the right to substitute and items in the gifts for items of equal or greater value if those listed in the descriptions are out of stock or unavailable at the time of ordering. Glasses, utensils, fruit and other props shown in images are not included in the gift unless specifically listed in the contents.
